OK – how many times do you hear this or say this a day? On a workday I think it must be at least 10 times. Sometimes on the one call. (why do we still call it a “call”? 🤷♀️)
We created this cute design for those times you just don’t want to verbally say the words. And there’s a monkey. That helps too.
I was on a virtual conference this weekend. And one of the speakers was obviously on mute but during the panel the other panelists were polite and just said they couldn’t hear him. I was mentally raising my mug to them. Yes a mug!
The new normal includes lots of Zoom and Teams calls as well as other video conference calls and with it is this new battlecry – “You’re on mute”. Whilst having a mug or shirt with this written on it won’t guarantee you won’t ever have to say it again but at least you have the option to point at it.
